The Star Thrower award recognizes and appreciates the contributions of Americans, especially Asian and Pacific American women throughout our country.
Individuals selected for the Star Thrower Award have demonstrated extraordinary leadership. Criteria for the award include ability to reach out and make things happen; demonstrate significant impact upon Asian Pacific American women and the community; unique accomplishments and commitment in the face of barriers and adversity; personal dedication; and personal effectiveness.
